September 26 was the start of a good weekend for us at Mosport International Speedway. Through mechanical issues and threatening weather, the UOIT Motorsports team took home the 5th place prize and 6th best time among the 20 competitors. Teams from as far as Missouri attended and were not disappointed as the rain held out until the competition was officially over.

We would like to thank and congratulate our friends at Toronto FSAE for their excellent work organizing the largest shootout competition yet! We'll see you again next year.

One last thanks goes out to all our new members that attended the competition. Now you know what to look forward to!

Welcome to all new students!

This year's recruitment meeting has been scheduled for Tuesday September 22nd in J102 from 2pm to 5pm.

UOIT Motorsports is always looking for new and talented students to join our team. There will be available positions for students from all faculties and campuses (DC and UOIT). Chassis/Suspension, Powertrain, Drivetrain, and Business are just a few of the departments. During this meeting, you will be introduced to the team and given some details of our inner workings and where you can help out.

If you can't make it to our meeting on Tuesday, please come out to our weekly meeting on Thursday September 24th in UB2058 from 12pm to 2pm Wednesday September 23rd in UA3120 from 9pm to 11pm.

Just weeks away from competition, the team took the car through it's final tear down, paint/prep, and assembly.  The final assembly can be seen above in a time lapse video.

 Final testing is also underway.  The team is very confident with the car and their chances going in to Formula SAE Virginia.  Check back for daily updates once the event is in progress from April 22nd-25th.
